Sotra Industrivarer A/S was founded in 1986, at Vindenes, as a welding equipment dealer for Norgas.
The major sale was welding, cutting/grinding and hand tools.

During 1993 the company moved to Ågotnes Senter and now ironware and bolts/nuts where included as a sales article.

In 1999/2000 the company bought its own site at Ågotnes (approx. 2.min. from Coast Center Base) and spring 2001 our new building was finished.

The building covers 1200 m² spread on the following: 600 m² for shop/warehouse. 200 m² for offices and 400 m² for rent.

The company is a fully assortment supplier for industry and offshore, covering everything from welding up to personal protective equipment. Our stock also holds everything within ironware for the craft industries and privates.

Together with our partners, we are a major supplier of protective equipment and work clothing for the building, construction and industry sector.
